Adorn with human skin,
An angel,
Hair in black and brown hues,
Flowing like waves, singing in the wind,
Smooth yet piercing, carved Arabian eyes,
Reflecting darkness of the midnight sky,
Masterful, bold strokes create her face
Of divinity softly smiling in grace...
I’ve thinking about your thoughts all day,
Over a smoke that seems to fade away,
My mind strangled in silence,
Chokes my throat until there’s nothing to say,
Even when you sleep,
When you breathe,
The world seems beautiful,
If you were only born to someone else,
We wouldn’t be swimming in the dark,
Trapped in a riddle,
Perfection dissolved enough happiness already,
May be now or a few moments ago,
I fell in love with you,
I wish that you would take that love
And burn it away...
Oh Abhas this is such a beautiful poem. Each word resonates with pain and yet there is such sublime divinity in it.
